It was a surprisingly quiet day at Airedale. The streets had less people than usual. Just the way I liked it. Whatever the case, I had come here for a reason, so I made my way to my destination. "Any new jobs today, Flo?" I asked as I stood at the counter of the quest broker.

"Waugh!" Flo screamed in surprise, as she had not noticed my presence until I spoke. Once she calmed down, then she addressed me. "Ah! It's you again. Mr..." she said, not remembering my name. I didn't blame her for that. Even though I had been a Hunter for a decent amount of time, I had always preferred to remain under the radar, even for my clients.

"Rio Gaix," I answered simply.

"Ah, yes. Well, I do have a new job that was just posted this morning..." she said, before she explained the quest she had available. Apparently, a Caninu named Shira Narake had a request for a special delivery. While it may not have anything to do with my personal goal, I decided to accept either way.

It didn't take me long to find my client. Narake stood out like a sore thumb with how she was dressed. At first, she seemed uncertain of me when I said I was the one who had accepted her quest. However, she eventually explained the quest. She wanted me to deliver a package to the famous Hunter, Red Savarin. Now this caught me by surprise. I had heard that a Hunter named Red Savarin was instrumental in saving all of Shepherd back during the incident with that giant sphere that appeared in the sky. Either way, after Narake gave me the package, she told me that Savarin was currently in Basset. She also warned me to watch out for pirates and strictly forbade me to open the package. Okay, either there is something in here that she is too embarrassed to show anyone that she doesn't want me to see, or this thing is something dangerous meant for Savarin. Judging by how she seemed embarrassed when she told me not to open the package, I would assume the former. Either way, a request is a request.

Boarding my personal ship, I set a course for Basset, before putting the ship into full throttle. The day was rather pleasant, as the sun was shining brightly in the clear blue sky. A little too bright for my taste. Unlike most people, I have always preferred days that were slightly cloudier compared to days that were sunny like this. Well, better to have a sun rather than not having one, so I shouldn't complain.

Putting my ship into auto-pilot, I decided to enjoy the breeze for a while, as I stepped out into the side balcony of my ship. Watching the clouds go by, I couldn't help but feel a little bored, given the uneventful flight so far. Suddenly, a loud explosion hit the side of my ship, causing it to shake violently.

Running back to the controls, I saw a large ship appearing from the clouds. On the side of the ship, was an emblem I easily recognized. The emblem of the Clapper Pirates.
"Gwahahaha!" I heard a laugh, as a signal suddenly came up on the radio. I switched on the radio to hear that it was the leader of the Clappers, Flognarde. "Alright, Hunter. I heard that you're delivering a package for Red Savarin. We have a bone to pick with that meddling Hunter, and this package will be a perfect way for us to..." I didn't bother sticking around to hear him finish, as I had already boarded my personal robot, Elysium.

"Now hand over that package, or...!" Flognarde was about to finish, when his ship suddenly shook violently. "What was that?!" Flognarde demanded.

"Uhhh, bos, that Hunter just crashed one of our planes into this ship," one of the Clapper members said.

True enough, I quickly stabbed one of Elysium's swords into the hull of the ship after I got off the wreck that remained from the plane I had 'hitched a ride' on. Earlier, after I got on Elysium, I immediately ejected out of my ship, and landed on one of the Clappers' planes that were flying around. After that, it was a simple manner of knocking out the wings, or engine, then jumping on to another plane, and repeating. However, I quickly got bored of that, so on the last plane I jumped on, I made sure to steer it so that it would crash into the Clappers' ship when I took out the engine.

Deciding that I shouldn't stay out here for too long, I quickly carved out a door and jumped into the ship. Of course, the Clapper members that were already in robots tried to stop me, but they didn't last long against Elysium's swords, as I made scrap metal out of their robots. Making my way to 'greet' Flognarde, I probably hacked my way through at least 30 or 40 robots before I arrived at the door to the bridge. Expectedly, the Clapper members in the bridge paled when they saw Elysium carve open the door like a knife through hot butter.

"Heh, you've got guts coming all the way here. Tell you what, give us the package now, and we'll let you leave with a warning," Flognarde said, sounding tough. Too bad for him, I saw through his act easily. I knew I had them cornered, and at that point, I simply cracked my knuckles, as I grinded Elysium's swords against each other, causing the sparks to fall, before I advanced on the pirates. And now, I must omit what happened next, as I believe it would be... Unsuitable for any children who should come across this log.

Getting back on my ship, I continued back on my course to Basset to deliver the package. Behind my ship, the Clappers' ship was quickly loosing altitude, after a few 'adjustments' I made to their controls and their engine. Needless to say, I don't think they will be causing trouble for anyone any time soon. "That was rather enjoyable," I mused.

Arriving at Basset, I set out to look for Savarin, with the package in hand. Luckily for me, I saw him and his two companions, Chocolat Gelato, and Elh Melizee walking towards the port.

"Red Savarin?" I confirmed, as I stood infront of them.

"Yeah, can I help you?" he asked, though I could tell he was on guard. Probably due to my... appearance.

"My name is Rio Gaix. I was given a quest by Shira Narake to deliver this package to you," I said, as I handed him the package, before giving him a sturdy metal box as well.

"What's the metal box for?" Savarin asked, still eyeing me suspiciously.

"I was told not to open the package. While I assume my client seems to be one of your fans, I respect the 'hero of Shepherd' enough to give you a precaution in case that package is an 'unpleasant surprise'" I simply stated, before walking back to my ship. Quest Clear.
